September 1, 2006:
Hidden Agenda Launches! You are now eligible to enter the contest. Entry is free and not binding, but does require a short description of your initial game concept.

September 1– December 15, 2006:
Visit the website for contest updates, interviews with game and education experts, thoughts about gaming from middle school students, chat opportunities with members of our impressive board of advisors, helpful reading materials, technical help from other contest entrants, or just to talk smack.

You may begin to build your game at any time.

December 15, 2006:
This is the last day to enter the contest. But hopefully by now, you are well on your way to developing your game.

January 1 – May 1, 2006:
Once your game is built, you may submit it via mail. The game must be postmarked on or before May 1 to be accepted.

Throughout this time, the website will continue to incorporate updates and other helpful information.

June 1, 2007:
The contest finalists (or finalist teams) will be announced on the Hidden Agenda website.

Late June or Early July 2007 (exact date tbd):
All finalists will be flown to Austin, Texas to present their games to a panel consisting of our board of advisors, as well as other experts. Your presentation will include up to 30 minutes of your own material, plus an extensive question and answer session with the panel of experts. Additionally you'll have a chance to play the game with the panelists to help demonstrate why your game kicks ass.
